Edward "Ed" passed away peacefully at his home in Reno, NV, surrounded by his loving family. Ed was born and raised in Chicago, IL, where he joined the Chicago Police Department and later became a successful entrepreneur. Opportunity propelled Ed to relocate to Dallas, TX, where he began a career in the printing industry with the Pitman Co. Ed retired in 2002 allowing him and his wife, Kathy, to spend more time at their Maui home and travel the world. Ed's love of people motivated him to serve others; soon after moving to Reno, NV, Ed volunteered with the Washoe County School District and The City of Reno Police Department S.A.V.E. Ed is survived by his wife, Kathy (Heller), daughters; Diana (Brian) Christensen - Hunt and Lisa (Mike) Goble, sister, Karen (Larry) Hansen, and brother-in-law, Fred Heller. Cherished grandfather of Patrick Osterling, Jerry, Alex, Beau Goble, Taylor and Lauren Hunt. Fond uncle of Gavin Heller and Brian Hansen. Ed was a truly good friend to many and will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. Friends and family are invited at that time to join Kathy in wishing her beloved Ed, Aloha, A hui hou.
