Giles Monroe Singleton, born Carroll County Tennessee on August 9, 1895, died June 30, 1965 at the hospital in Hayti.
Mr. Singleton was a retired farmer of Rural Route 3.
Services are to be held Friday (today) at German Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Harold Thompson of Blytheville officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, German Funeral Home in charge.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Noverlee Singleton; three sons: Johnny Singleton, Miami; Billy Singleton, Marmaduke, Ark., and Sgt. Glenn Singleton, U.S. Air Force, Fort Meade, MD.; seven daughters: Marie Bateman, Atwood, Tenn.; Lucille Taylor, Bradford, Tenn.; Velma Travis, McKenzie, Tenn.; Mattie Lou Paulson, Waukesha, Wisc.; Frances Dortch, Aurora, Ill.; Evelyn Bradley, Otsego, Mich.; Cora Jo Singleton, of the home.
He also leaves a brother, Guy Singleton, Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
