Edna Alexander TREADWELL - Edna Alexander, 77, died Thursday at her home. Funeral services will be at 1 pm Monday at the Bennett Funeral Home, Frenklin, with the Rev Gene Black, pastor of the Franklin Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be later in the Ouleout Valley Cemetery, Franklin.
She was born Jan 21, 1890 at Masonville, daughter of John E. and Minnie (Murphy) Dean. She was married to Fred Alexander August 23, 1907 in Utica. He died in 1954. She formerly lived in Bainbridge, but in 1954 moved to Treadwell.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Edith Walling, RD2 Oneonta, a son, Lewis Alexander of Schenevus; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother, Harvey of Treadwell.
