Anchorage resident Deanna Pauline Clark, 31, died Dec. 11, 2007, at home. A funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Evergreen Memorial Chapel, 737 E St. A potluck with family members and friends will be afterward at NANA Development Corp., 1001 E Benson Blvd. A second service is pending in Kiana. Deanna was born in Kotzebue on Feb. 11, 1976, to Calvin Westlake and Florence Clark. She was raised in Kiana, where she graduated from Kiana High School in 1995. Deanna worked as a teacher aide at the schools and was a CHP trainee at the clinic in Kiana. Deanna moved to Anchorage in 2000 with her children. She graduated from the Career Academy and was employed at NANA Development Corp. and Arctic Slope Regional Corp. Deanna enjoyed spending time with her children, family and friends. She regularly took people into her home when they needed a place to stay. "She was always willing to help no matter the situation," her family wrote. "Deanna was a very loving and caring mother, sister and friend. She was also a very loving granddaughter, daughter, aunt and niece. Deanna will be greatly missed by all that knew her. We would like to thank everyone who helped Deanna and who have also helped us after her passing. Your dedication and generosity will never be forgotten." Deanna is survived by her fiance, Kevin Wells; father, Calvin Westlake; mother, Florence Clark; stepdad, Earl Kingik; children, Charnelle Gooden, Zander Clark, Shaun Johnson Jr., Zantaiya Clark, Kainan Wells and Kasia Wells; siblings, Clarita Clark, Amelia "Aggie" Kingik, Robert Kingik, Esther Kingik, Percy Kingik, Da'rrel Kingik, Charlene Booth, Lorraine Ticket, Derek Cutris, Logan Westlake, Sam Ballot and Cassandra Westlake; grandmother, Rhoda Atoruk; grandparents, Rudy and Amelia Black; aunts and uncles, Dale and Linda Stotts, Ed and Katherine Engell, David Black, Lorenz and Amy Morris, Robert Black, Kevin Black, Lydia and Charlie Curtis, and Lori Ellen Stalker; and her dearest friends, Cheryl "Sweetie" Curtis, Norma Jean Atoruk, Shirelle Barr and many more.
