Mrs. Jamison was an avid gardener and enjoyed traveling and antiquing. She enjoyed decorating her home and others.
She retired from Lake County General Health District, and had worked at Phillippbars Decorating in Painesville, Lake National Bank and Citizens Savings and Loan. She held her insurance license and was associated with Esch Davis Insurance Co. in Painesville, at one time.
Mrs. Jamison was the devoted wife of 72 years to William F. Jamison, whom she married January 3, 1942; mother of William J. (Jeanne) of Concord, Ohio; grandmother of William G. (Tracy) of Mentor, Ohio, and Michael (Melissa) of Lyndhurst, Ohio; grandmother of Jack, Carter, Alexis and Hadley; sister of Mary Lou Crouser; and aunt of Paul (Beth) Crouser, John (Linda) Mariner and Steven (Paula) Mariner.
Deceased are a sister, Betty Mariner, and brothers-in-law, Paul Crouser and Glise Mariner.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday in Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Avenue, opposite Lake Erie College, Painesville. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 8, in Painesville United Methodist Church, 71 North Park Place, Painesville, with the Rev. Gerald D. Kalb officiating. Urania Chapter 284 OES will conduct Eastern Star services at 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Painesville.
