Stone was recently found buried in the sand under a huge cactus patch. Needs repair and tender loving care.
Son of John W and Annie Smith Neal, married Martha Ann "Mary" Carman on 3/21/1865 in Wilson County Texas. According to his wife's application for a pension, he served in the Confederate Army from "Spring of 1864 to the end of the war in 1865"and died from either typhoid or yellow fever.
