Donna M. Stein, 47, Bismarck, died Tuesday, March 14, 1989, at Medcenter One.

Donna was born on December 2, 1941, in Beulah, ND, the daughter of Henry and Rose (Aipperspach) Pfenning.  She was raised and educated at Zap, ND and attended Center High School.

Donna moved to Bismarck and worked at the St. Alexius Hospital and White Drug.

She married Joseph Stein on October 14, 1961, in Bismarck.

For 14 years Donna worked as a receptionist at Q & R Clinic and worked up until the time of her death.

Donna was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.

Donna is survived by her husband, Joseph; one daughter, Jodi of Bismarck; two sons, Jamie of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Jared a student at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks; one granddaughter, Nicole; her father, Henry of Bismarck; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marlene and Pat Sullivan of Bay City, Wisconsin, and Joyce and Pete Hellman of Mandan; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerome and Violet, Darold and Marlys, Clyde and Cynthia, and Joel and Lora, all of Bismarck.

Services for Donna were held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 17, 1989 at Faith Lutheran Church in Bismarck with a graveside service at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.

Casketbearers for Donna were Terry Perkins, Monte Pfenning, Brad Lick, Brent Lick, Tim Stein and Myron Ternes.
