Joseph, 70, 7396 Patterson-Halpin Rd., passed away at 6:45 p.m., at his home.

He was the son of Loren and Margie (Ivy) Fair. On Apr 24, 1965, he married to Doris Jane Campbell, who preceded him in death. His fiancé, CarolAnn Helmer, survives in Sidney.

Also surviving are a son, Tom (Dawn), Sidney; a daughter, Lorain (Joe) Chester, Sidney; a brother, Donald (Sue), Sidney; a sister, Vonda (Roger) Wolf, Springfield; a sister-in-law, Maxine Fair, Plano, TX; and nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Deceased are two brothers: L.J. and Jerry; and a sister-in-law: Phyllis Fair.

He served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. He formerly worked as a machinist for the Baumfolder Corporation, Sidney. He was a member of the Shelby County Deer Hunters Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, crashing radio controlled airplanes, and the companionship of his dogs, Maggie and Lucy.

A Graveside Service will be held at a later date at the family's convenience.
