Ted Bertuca, 67, of Charleston, died 8:20 p.m. Friday July 19, 1996 at Carle Hospital Urbana.


Mr. Bertuca was born May 29, 1929 in Chicago, Ill. the son of Frank S. and Rose K. Bertuca.


He is survived by one brother, Joseph Bertuca of Chicago; one sister Victoria Adducci of Charleston; three nephews, Frank Adducci, of Chicago, Joseph Mark Adducci, Chicago, Robert Bertuca, Westmont, Ill.; five nieces, Pamela Bertuca, Hickory Hill, Ill., Debby Bertuca, Burbank, Ill., Cindy Adcock, Burbank, Ill., Robin Bertuca, Nashville, Tenn., and Linda Adducci of Chicago.


Mr. Bertuca was a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Charleston Moose Lodge, Chareston VFW Post 1592, and Eastern Panther Club. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. From 1951-1972 Mr. Bertuca was a store manager with National Tea Co., and operated the largest store in the Chicago division. He was named manager of the year four times. He came to Charleston in 1972 and opened Ted's Warehouse, which he operated until his death.
