Educated locally, she was a graduate of Lewiston High School. She moved to Florida as a young woman and started a career in real estate sales. In 1970 she married Gerard Allen in Florida, and returned to the local area following his death in 1989. An avid reader, she was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Basilica, Prince of Peace Parish.
Survivors include three sisters; Irene Lozier of Rutland, VT, Simone Deschaine of Lewiston, and Lorraine Perron of Lewiston, and several nieces, her parents and husband; she was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Raymond Allen, and six sisters; Corinne Deforge, Lauretta Lombard, Gloria Lacasse, Annette Gagne, Cecile St. Amant, and Doris Turgeon.
The family thanks the staffs of the Sarah Frye Home and Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice Services for the loving care they gave Therese during her final months.
