Betty J. Bull, 82, of Parkton, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at Brightview Mays Chapel Ridge in Timonium.

Born July 15, 1932, in Parkton, she was the daughter of the late Melvin O. and Alice H. Reichard Bull. She was the wife of the late Edgar L. Bull Sr.

She was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women. She enjoyed babysitting for friends and family; and enjoyed visitors, going out to eat and shopping.

Surviving are daughter Debra K. Thompson and husband Kenneth, of Upperco; son Edgar L. "Dink" Bull Jr. and wife Judy, of Parkton; grandchildren Dawn Kreidler and husband Christopher, Sherry Thompson, Kenny Thompson Jr. and wife Kelly, Jason Bull and wife Amanda, and Stephen and Travis Bull; great-grandchildren Wesley, Ashley, Addison and Brayden; and a brother, Clarence M. Bull.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, Pa.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 19308 Middletown Road, Parkton, with the Rev. Dr. Peggy Click officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery.
