Quincy Lafayette Scott, 61 of Oakland, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 at his home in Oakland. He was born on January 21, 1953 in Talihina, Oklahoma to the late Sylvester Emil Scott and Lonie Willmond Scott. Quincy was raised in Madill where he attended the Madill Schools. He worked a short time in Oklahoma City at the Pepsi plant before working at the Madill Public schools for 22 years as the ground maintenance. Quincy always was at the Madill football gate for the past 21 years without missing a game. He was affiliated with the Pickens Baptist Church and he enjoyed visiting and watching football.
