Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home, Thomasville, with the Rev. Ottis Collins officiating. Burial will be in Missionary Methodist Church Cemetery.
He was a native of Randolph County, a retired upholsterer for USFI and of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are wife, Rachel Smith Earnhardt of the home; daughters, Frances Ballard of Salisbury, Debra Small and Betty Earnhardt, both of Wilmington, Gayle Cuthbertson of Archdale; son, Jeff Earnhardt of Trinity; sisters, Mozelle White and Clara Routh, both of Asheboro; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren
