Irene Dunn, age 98, of New Haven and formerly of Huntington, passed away at 2:23 a.m. Thursday (February 6, 2014) at Parkview Huntington Hospital.
Family will receive friends from 2 - 8 p.m. Sunday (February 9, 2014) at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday (February 10, 2014) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Rev. Ray Seilhamer will officiate. Burial will be held in Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington County, Indiana.

Irene was born July 13, 1915 in Haverhill, Ohio, the daughter of John and Ophia (Hall) Carr. She married Dartmouth Beady on May 31, 1932 in Clarksburg Kentucky. He preceded her in death on September 22, 1969. She married Eldo Dunn M.D. on June 21, 1971 in Fairmount, Indiana; he preceded her in death on February 22, 1988.
Irene retired in 1976 after 21 years of service from Utrad Corporation in Huntington, as a floor supervisor. She was a member of New Hope United Brethren Church in Huntington.
Irene is survived by her two sons - Marvin L (Carol) Beady of Huntington and Glenn H. (Judy) Beady of Fort Wayne; two daughters - Shirley (James) Sills of Huntington and Betty J. (Richard) Scott of New Haven; thirteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, twenty-six great great grandchildren, four great great great grandchildren and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her parents, both husbands, tow sons - Paul De Wayne Beady and Larry Beady, one brother - Paul S. Carr, one sister - Viola Davis, two grandchildren - Jeffrey Beady and Michelle Scott and two great grandsons, Chad Clements and Zachary Clements preceded her in death.
