Obituary - Rhea Mae Harris Blood, 89, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 1993 in Bountiful.

She was born July 24, 1904 in Layton, Utah, a daughter of Robert Thornley and Nora Robinson Harris. She married Orin R. Blood, June 20, 1928 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a lifelong resident of the Layton-Kaysville area.

She graduated from the U of U with high honors in 1950 with a B.S. degree in elementary education. She taught at Kaysville Elementary for 45 years.

She was a member of the Kaysville 2nd LDS Ward. She and her husband served in the Escondido, California Mission.

She was a member of the U of U Women's Club and the Athena Club.

Surviving are her husband of Kaysville; one son, John Robert (J.R.) Blood, Clinton; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Josephine Taylor, Bountiful; Maurine Saxey, Sandy; sister-in-law, Juanita Harris, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 22, 1993, 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main where friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday, one hour prior to the services. Interment: Kaysville City Cemetery.
