Margaret Melinda Wilkinson Elliott, age 94, of Cottontown, passed away July 14, 2013, at The Bridge at Highland. She was born September 30, 1918, to the late Leroy Jeter Wilkinson and Irma Williams Wilkinson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Elliott; her daughter, Shirley Ruth Elliott Chick; son-in-law, Charles Chick. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Don) Curry; grandchildren, Mark (Kelly) Curry, Matthew (Rachel) Curry, Melinda (Dan) Ray; great-grandchildren, Lincoln Ray, Dani Beth Ray, Hunter Ray, Luke Curry and Aiden Curry. She was a faithful member of the Portland Church of Christ and loved to eat out with friends and family. Visitation is 3 p.m., until 8 p.m., Thursday, July 18, 2013. Funeral service is 11 a.m., Friday, July 19, 2013, at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with James Harris officiating. Interment is at Portland Memorial Gardens.
