Services for Carrol Adam Butler, 93, Ada, are 10 a.m. Wednesday at
Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Joe Dixon and Ray Talbott officiating.
Burial follows in Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Butler died Sept. 29, 2003, at a local hospital. He was born March 28,
1910, in Marshall County, Okla., to A.D. and Ida Keller Butler.

He moved to this area in 1942 from Milo, where he had attended school. He was a
plant supervisor with he city of Ada in waste water management. He was a
longtime member of Oak Avenue Baptist Church, where he served as deacon, Sunday
school teacher and active in Banner Baptist Association.

Survivors include his wife, Nellie Butler, Ada; a son, Carroll Wesley Butler,
Beggs; three daughters, Loretta Steele, Ada, Marie Lovin, Roff, and Carolyn
McCown, Wichita, Kan.; a brother, A.D. Butler, Ardmore; nine grandchildren; 19
great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Bearers are deacons of Oak Avenue Baptist Church.
