RAYMOND ANDREW STONE

Raymond Andrew Stone, 100, of Gainesville, MO, formerly of Tyler, TX passed away on February 4, 2014 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center. He was born on August 23, 1913 in Sherman, TX, the son of Walter and Stella (Jenkins) Stone.

Mr. Stone was a lifelong resident of Tyler, TX. He was united in marriage to Blanche McKay in 1935. Mr. Stone was a retired food products salesman. He moved to Gainesville to be close to his sons just a few years ago. He loved gardening.

Mr. Stone is survived by his four children Kenneth Stone of Quitman, TX, Jack Stone of Gainesville, MO, Robert Stone of Theodosia, MO and Nancy Lingle of Tyler, TX; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one sister Lillie Belle Agnew of St. Louis, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Stella Stone; his wife Blanche Stone; and four siblings.

A Graveside Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2014 in the Gainesville Cemetery under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
