Jackie Dean Hardin, age 64, of Portland, passed away January 30, 2011. He was born in Robertson County on February 27, 1946, to the late James Roy and Neomia Groves Hardin. He is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Hardin; sister, Pamela Young; brother, Jerry Hardin. Mr. Hardin is survived by his daughter, Sandra (Kevin) Kepley of Portland; his son, Tony (Jamie) Hardin of Portland; grandchildren, Carly and Kaleb Kepley of Portland; sisters, Edith (Prentice) Bowen of Portland, Barbara (Bill) Davis of Old Hickory; brother, James E. (Linda) Hardin of Gallatin. Visitatiion is 10 a.m., until 9 p.m., Monday, January 31, 2011, and 9 a.m., until 9 p.m., Tuesday. Funeral service is 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Greer officiating. Interment is at Portland Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Tommy Biggs, Brian Bowers, Tracy Bowen, Chris Greer, Todd Davis and Wayne Hardin. Honorary pallbearers are Donald Morris, J.C. Morris and Russell Morris.
