Rhoda C. Yoder, 91, of Grantsville, MD, died Wednesday, February 05, 2014, at WMHS Regional Medical Center, Cumberland, MD.
Born September 17, 1922 in Oakland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Elmer & Sadie (Hershberger) Schrock.
Mrs. Yoder was preceded in death by her husband, Crist Yoder; six brothers, Evan, Nevin, Simon, Raymond, Herman & Olen Schrock; two sisters, Lela Yoder & Orpha Schrock; two grandchildren, Kathy Yoder & Kerri Yoder.
Mrs. Yoder was a homemaker and a member of Mountain View Mennonite Church.
Surviving are three sons, Paul Yoder and wife, Dorothy, Salisbury, PA, David Yoder & wife, Esther, Grantsville, Mark Yoder & wife, Debbie, Felton, PA; six daughters, Lois & husband, John Yoder, Jr., Orrville, OH, Dorcas & husband, Pete Macinta, Cambridge, MD, Ruth Erma Yoder, Grantsville, Naomi & husband, Ernest Showalter, Waynesboro, VA, Anna & husband, Beryl Moser, Grantsville, Rachel & husband, William Brenneman, West Jefferson, OH; one brother, Homer Schrock & wife Debbie, Cochranville, PA; one sister, Thelma Beiler, Grantsville; one sister-in-law, Miriam Schrock, Grantsville; 29 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller Street, Grantville, on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Services will be conducted on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Mountain View Mennonite Church at 11:00 a.m.
Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Mountain View Sharing Fund.
