She was born at Pleasant Hill, WV on April 20, 1920 to Robert P. Weatherly and Rachel Clemons Weatherly In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over fifty years, Willard Hill; six brothers, Raymond, Robert, Eugene, Clint, Oather and Jim; and one sister, Edna. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Cherishing her memory, her only child, Hayes Hill and wife Linda; granddaughters, Sonya Smith and husband Gene, and Sarra Cottle; and great-granddaughter, Ericka Cottle; many nieces and nephews; and her dog, Puggy.
She was a member of the Hatcher United Methodist Church and attended regularly until she was no longer physically able. Sally was known for her baking. She baked birthday, wedding, and pound cakes for many people in many states. She worked all her life starting at Brock's Restaurant in Princeton, later employed at Princeton Hosiery Mill, Maidenform, and Celanese.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 7, 2014 at Fredeking Funeral Service in Oakvale with Rev. Olen Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
