She worked on the line at RCA --Thompson for 30 years where she was retired. She was a member of the Furnace Church and the Mineral Ladies Aid.
Surviving relatives include: two daughters Betty J. Reed of Bloomfield and Joan Carmichael of Stanford; sons Donald, and Danny Abrams, all of Bloomfield; one brother Norval Dewey Norris of Bloomfield; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Amos Abrams on Feb. 29, 2004; one sister and two brothers Lee Smith and Orville Norris.
