She was born on September 29, 1921 in Louisville to the late John and Hildegarde Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Crumpton; and her beloved daughter, Beverly Crumpton Tan.
Angela is survived by her son, Richard Crumpton (Sharon); grandson, Christopher Crumpton (Kristen); and great granddaughters, Ella and Ava.
Angela attended St. Cecilia Grade School and graduated from the old Shawnee All Girls High School. She graduated from Spencerian College and retired as an Office Manager from O'Connor and Racque Office Supply. Her many memberships include the Louisville Women's Credit Association and Preservation Alliance.
After retirement Angela lived on the lake at Doe Valley for many years. She was deeply religious and an avid calligrapher.
A funeral mass celebrating her life will be held at 10 am Thursday, February 6, 2014 at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 1520 Hepburn Ave, with interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
