LaVonne was born July 26, 1956 in Council Bluffs to Lester Elwood and Phyllis Maxine (Hardisty) Thomas.
She is preceded in death by her father Lester Thomas.
LaVonne is survived by her mother Phyllis Thomas; children Tony Thomas, Leslie DeMare and husband Adam, Angie Slavin and husband Brian, seven grandchildren, sister Leah Groat, brothers Lester Thomas and Larry Thomas.
