Archie D. McCullough, 85, Regan, ND, died February 5, 2014, at Sanford Health Care Center, off Collins, Mandan, ND. Services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, February 8, 2014, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with Rev. Wes Glennon officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Regan Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm Friday, February 7, at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at Parkway Funeral Service. Archie was born November 20, 1928, on a farm near Regan, ND, the son of Ray and Martha (Hochhalter) McCullough. He attended Regan School, where he graduated in 1946. Archie married Lucille Fricke from Bismarck on March 6, 1948, at the First Lutheran Church, Bismarck. Archie worked for the Caterpillar Tractor Company from 1949 until 1954 when he and Lucille moved to Regan and began farming. Archie was president of Regan Cemetery Board for many years. Archie is survived by his wife, Lucille, Regan; son, James (Kathy) McCullough, Regan; daughter, Chloe (Gerald) Rasmussen, Regan; five grandchildren, Kenneth Rasmussen, MN, Brian Rasmussen, Regan, Lori (Dwight) Backman, Bismarck, Kimberly (Toby) Olin, New Salem, and Justin McCullough, Fargo; eight great-grandchildren, Brett Rasmussen, Tyler, Austin and Blake Backman, Joshua, Grace, Isaac, and Abigail Olin; and one niece, Betty (Larry) Falkenstein, Regan. He was preceded in death by his son, Wade; his parents; and his brother and sister-in-law, Clayton and Louise McCullough.
