WHITEZELL, H. B. "WHITEY" - My Grandpa died today. He was 80 years old. He was born March 29, 1908. He had been sick for a very long time and now he will be able to know who we are and be happy again.
He worked in the oil fields all of his life, also worked for Shafter Tool Co., then later owned his own company, "Pacific Fishing Tool" until he retired in 1975. After he retired, his great joy was having coffee and playing golf with his cronies.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy; and his only son, Gary and daughter-in-law, Joyce; three grandchildren, his most precious Kelli, Sam and Tug Bozanich, Mark, Kori, Christie and Tyler Whitezell, and Justin and Jeremy Whitezell.
We will all miss him very much, he was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. We love you Grandpa. Goodbye.
Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., Friday, December 2, at 1 p.m. for H. B. "Whitey" Whitezell. Mr. Robert Whitezell will officiate.
Mr. Whitezell was a member of the 32 Degree Mason and of the Al Malikah Temple.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Assoc. of Kern County.
