GALVESTON - Charloite L. Francis, 80, died Wednesday,
December 16, 1998, at John Sealy Hospital in Galveston, Texas. Services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday,
December 19,1998, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, Galveston, Texas, with the Rev. Ben Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at Oleander Cemetery,
42nd and Broadway, Galveston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time, Saturday, December 19, 1998, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Francis was born December 3, 1918, in Henderson, Texas to James and Lillian Sharbrough. She was retired from the Clinical Medicine Department at the University of Texas Medical Branch after 30 years of dedicated service.

She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Galveston and dedicated her life to her family, church and friends.

Mrs. Francis is survived by her son, Howard B. Francis Jr. of Houston; granddaughter, Linda Ann Francis and grandson,John W. Francis and wife, Julie all of Galveston; brother, James Sharbrough of Houston; great grandchildren, Aaron Perez, Rosemary Gonzales, Cameron
Tamayo, Carley Tamayo, Kevin Francis, Justin Francis, Tanner Francis and Ryan Hill all of Galveston and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers will be David Garcia, Joseph Deranieri, David DeUolio and Edwin Luper.
