Funeral Services were held Sunday at the Paden First Baptist Church for Mrs. Mattie Coleman Smith, who died at Okemah on Aug. 16. She was 38 years old.
Mrs. Smith came to Oklahoma with her parents at the age of 2, and has lived in and near Paden ever since. Survivors include her husband, B. M. Smith, two daughters, Mrs. Johnnie Mae Cobble and Fern Gray of Paden; her parents Mr. and Mrs. Abe Coleman of Paden, six brothers and five sisters, and one granddaughter.
Services were conducted at the church of which she was a member with Rev. Robert Taylor officiating. Interment was made in the Paden cemetery under direction of Parks Brothers of Prague
