She was an active member of Rosehill Freewill Baptist Church as a member of the Mother Board. She organized the youth group in 1961.
Mrs. Dickey was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Mack Gutter and Joe B. Dickey; three brothers, Herman, Wendell and Oscar Bates; and a son, Earl Gutter.
Survivors include two sons, Mack C. Gutter and wife Earline of Milwaukee and Robert Gutter Sr. and wife Eva of McComb; two sisters, Thelma Woods of McComb and Lurleen Dupree of Independence, La.; two brothers, Seaborn Bates of Liberty and Jessie Bates of McComb; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
