Ernest M. Adams, 63, of 4330 Almond Ave. died Saturday evening in Livermore's veterans hospital following a long illness. A native of Lodi, he attended local schools and entered the Navy when he was 16 years old, serving for 19 years. He returned to Lodi in 1948 and worked for Atkins Farm for the past several years.
He is survived by six sisters: Mrs. Earlene Gaskill of Boring, Ore.; Mrs. Mildred Black of Lodi; Mrs. Betty Litchfield of Acampo; Mrs. Bertha Coleman of Reno; Mrs. Florence George of Lodi' and Mrs. Wilma Minnich of San Francisco. He is also survived by two aunts and 20 nephews and nieces.
