Mr Decker worked for Eastside Winery for 14 years before retiring in 1998. Mr. Decker was an avid baseball fan, especially of the San Francisco Giants. He volunteered as an Umpire, a Babe Ruth Little League Baseball Coach as well as the adult Softball League in Lodi. He enjoyed morning walks, gardening and trading baseball memorabilia. He will be best remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his mother, Tillie Decker of Lodi; four sons; three daughters; two brothers, Donald Decker of Lodi and Lawrence Decker of Lodi; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Decker in 2003 and one sister, Loma Stamos.
