SGT. Ryan A. Martin, USMC, 25, of South Windsor, died suddenly Sunday morning, February 2, 2014.
Born May 1, 1988 in Worcester, MA, he was the son to Arthur "Chip" and Serena (Gabriel) Martin.
He had just completed four years serving our country proudly with the United States Marine Corp.
He will be remembered and his life will be celebrated by his two brothers Collin and Andrew; his father Arthur "Chip" and his mother Serena, his extended family including his grandmothers Beverly Gabriel and Camille Martin, P$T, his many friends, and his loyal companion, Sandy.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 7th at Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor. A Mass of Christian Burial for Ryan will be held on Saturday, February 8th, to be celebrated at 10AM, at St. Margaret Mary Church, 80 Hayes Road, South Windsor. Burial with military honors will follow in Wapping Cemetery, South Windsor.
