Laura Theresa Perez Pierce passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the age of 71. She was the cherished wife of 48 years to Norman Leo Pierce Jr. Loving mother of Gary Pierce, Brian Pierce, Laura Ponthieux and the late Cynthia Pierce. Daughter of the late Laura Damores and Henry Perez. Sister of Isadore J. Giveans, Lillie G. Tzuanos and the late Edna Mae Ackman, Lucille A. Cacioppo, Alcee J. Giveans Jr. and Herbert J. Angelo Jr. Proud grandmother of Heather Marie Thompson, Thomas Ponthieux Jr., Caden Ponthieux, Jeremy Michael Pierce and Brandon Nicholas Pierce. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She will be forever remembered as a loving and loyal wife, mother, grandmother and sister, who treasured her family. She will be deeply missed by her family and by all those whose lives she touched.
