Mr. Thomas Ackman Sr. loved life and lived it with abundant passion. He found strength in knowing his life was not his own, but his life belonged to Jesus Christ, his Savior.
Mr. Thomas had a deep love for his family and poured his life, love and energies into that which he loved — especially his wife, children and his precious grandchildren.
Mr. Thomas was a quiet man with a big voice. In this wise man, his family would seek and find guidance, wise counsel and direction for their lives.
He was a kind-hearted man of many talents. His chosen profession was to be a Boat Captain, which was evident in his love for the outdoors. At a time in his life he was a Commercial Shrimper. Mr. Thomas will be sadly missed by all those who were made better by knowing this great man.
