Mrs. Jackson was born to Mr. and Mrs. Grover C. Sudduth, of Tuscaloosa County, Ala. on May 10, 1928. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she served on many church boards and committees. She was also a member of the Methodist Women's Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mayo Evans Jackson; a daughter, Jahala Jackson Black; three brothers, James Sudduth, Robert Winston Sudduth and Wayne Sudduth; and two sisters,Myrtle Marable and Dean Harkey.
