HAMILTON, Ohio. – Roy McIntosh, age 81, of Hamilton, Ohio, died Sunday, February 2, 2014, at Hospice of Hamilton. Born February 17, 1932, in Hazard County, Kentucky, to George McIntosh and Carrie Hall Lawson, he lived in Richmond for more than thirty years before moving to Hamilton, Ohio. Roy worked in construction for most of his life. Following retirement, he worked in farming, which became his passion. He was a member of Living Faith Church of God. Roy loved watching basketball, farming, and his church. Survivors include his daughter, Shelleyne Smith of Hamilton, Ohio; grandchild, Brandon Smith of Hamilton, Ohio; siblings, Martha (Bill) Thomas, Lisa (Dewey) Kirk, Kelcie (Robert) Saylers, A.C. (Opal) McIntosh, and Shirley Stamper; his soul mate's children, Roger Morris, Jay Morris, and Connie Johnson; nieces; nephews; and many friends including, Pastor Allen Henderson, Doug Wheeler, Jerry Kircher, and Darrel Kircher. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Clara McIntosh; his soul mate, Elizabeth Morris; and five siblings.
