Pallbearers were R. C. Harper, H. F. Boyd, H. A. Jasper, Ford Boone, Toney Russell, H. C. Mills, Meredith Johnson, and Murphy Eppinette. Honorary pallbearers were all barbers in the northeast district.
Mr. Cain was found dead in his home, where over the week end he was alone, his wife being away on a visit. He closed his shop on DeSiard street Saturday night and went home. No one saw him alive again.
The coroner, Dr. James T. French, stated that death was due to natural causes.
He leaves his wife; a brother, Minor Cain, Minden; and a sister, Mrs. Lucy McMillan, Point, Texas.
