Charles Elmer Clarkson Sr died Jan. 27, 2014 at a Joplin,MO hospital. He was born to John Arthur II and Daisy Josephine Villanueva Clarkson in Shelby County, MO. He attended schools at Kendall, MO, Hunnewell, MO and Monroe City High School. He served in the U.S. Army for a short time. He was a truck driver by trade.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brother's John Arthur Clarkson III and Albert Ray Clarkson Sr.
He leaves behind one son Charles Elmer Clarkson II (wife Vicki), one brother Jerry Lee Clarkson and one sister Mary Josephene Clarkson Lovelace Turek, and two grandchildren Andrew and Emily.
He loved hunting, fishing and enjoyed running model trains.
