Mrs. Jessie Hoffman, 40 years old, wife of Emanuel W. (Manny) Hoffman, 326 South Ninth street, died Friday morning at 3 o'clock of typhoid fever, after being ill ten days. She was born in Quincy March 10, 1881.
She is survived by her husband; three daughters: Marie, Isabelle, and Virginia, at home; one brother, Frank Surlage; and one sister, Mrs. John Sweetening, both of Quincy.
She was a member of St. Mary's branch No. 252, W. C. U., and of St. Peter's Catholic church.
