Charles F. Keyes, 72, of Phoenix, AZ (Formally of N. Syracuse NY) died January 28, 2014 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 29 years Carol. He was also predeceased by his brother Paul Jr. and parents Paul Sr. and Maylia Keyes. Chuck was a devoted father and grandfather. He retired from Jim Thompson + Sons Trucking as a truck driver. He is survived by his children: Wade (Jacklyn) Keyes of N. Syracuse, NY, Lori (Christopher) Moore of Prince Frederick, MD, Penny Van Eseltine of Phoenix, AZ, Marvin (Kimberly) Keyes of Phoenix, AZ, Angela Reynolds of Duluth, MN and Charles A. Keyes of Phoenix, AZ, stepchildren: Robert (Patti) Johnson, Sharon Bores and Mike (Alice) Johnson all of Phoenix, AZ. Chuck has two sisters Nancy (Gary) Wentworth and Paula Griffith of N. Syracuse, NY and brother William Keyes. He was blessed with 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Chuck was a life member of the Elks & Moose Lodges. A visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Thursday, February 6, 2014 with funeral services at 10am on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary 200 W. Beardsley Rd. Phoenix, AZ.
