Viola Miles Rogers Viola Miles Rogers, 82, Saint Mary Nursing Home (East), passed away Friday, October 30, 2009, at Hamot Medical Center.

She was born November 25, 1926, in Pine Bluff, Ark. She was a resident of 35 years and was a former member of First Born Apostolic Faith Church of God. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and sewing. She loved serving God and reading her Bible. She greatly loved her family. Viola will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Jesse and Daniel Rogers, three brothers, George, Snoop and Ogee Miles; and a grandson, Jason Rogers.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 61 years, Leroy Rogers, Erie; four sons, Roy Rogers, Jr., Albion, Pa., Timothy and Thomas Rogers, Erie, and Leon Rogers, FuQuay Varina, N.C.; six daughters, Dorothy Coleman (Danny), Emma Connors (MacArthur), Viola M. Rogers (Danny), Dolly Ollie, Juanita Ward (Charles) and Philomena Rogers (Danny), all of Erie; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends...
