FRANKLIN - Irene C. Critz, 100, of Franklin died at 12:30 a.m. Nov. 3, 2005, at a Franklin nursing home.

The Williams County, Tenn., native was a retired secretary for the Tennessee State Board of Education and a member of Lambuth Methodist Church in Gallatin, Tenn. She was a daughter of the late Boyd Ridley Critz Sr. and the late Mable Creath Critz. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth C. Stewart, Frances C. Martin and Julia Critz; and a brother, Boyd Ridley Critz II.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Hope Cemetery in Franklin, Tenn. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.

Survivors include two nieces, Betty Martin Porter and her husband, Ronnie, of Franklin and Jean Burroughs and her husband, William, of South Carolina; four nephews, James R. Martin and Jack J. Martin and his wife, Patsy, all of Gallatin, Boyd Ridley Critz and his wife, Judy, of Peoria, Ill., and Trainor A. Critz and his wife, Pam, of North Carolina; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Daily News
