Simmons; dear father of Barbara Simmons and Gail (Roger) Green; dear grandfather of Tracy (Stephen) Chappell, Andrew and Matthew (Ashley) Green, and Aimee (Al) Haywood; dear great-grandfather of Jonathan and Lauren Chappell, Griffin and Georgia Green; dear aunt, cousin and friend. Rodney was a retired Colonial Bread salesman and honorably served our country in the Army during World War II. Visitation at SHEPARD FUNERAL CHAPEL, 9255 Natural Bridge Road at I-170 (314-426-6000), St. Louis on Thursday, February 6, 10:00am until the Funeral Service at 11:00am. Burial follows at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
