Freda was a graduate of Milton High School and had a happy life under the care of Green Acres Regional Center and ResCare. She enjoyed her independent living in her own home. Her family was her world and surviving are her sisters, Virginia Martin of Huntington and Irene Searls of Ravenswood; sisters-in-law, Doris F. Neal of Milton and Avonelle Neal of AZ; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Heck Funeral Home, Milton. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Neal Cemetery, John's Creek Rd, Milton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Green Acres Regional Center in the name of her brother, George Neal, since he was so passionate about supporting the program. A special thanks goes to Charles Watson for his excellent care and others who cared for her needs.
