Otto Boldewahn. 66. of 172 Ceape St. was found hanging in a garage behind the Ceape Street address at 6:53 p. m. Monday. His body was discovered by Raymond Hoeppner, 172 Ceape St who notified police. Investigation revealed that Boldewahn had nailed two cleats to the garage rafters and placed a rope about the cleats. He apparently climbed onto a table, placed the rope around his neck and stepped off the table. Dr. G. A. Steele Winnebago County coroner, said Boldewahn had been dead about four hours before he was found. Mr. Boldewahn. who owned the 172 Ccape St. property, lived alone in the garage. The body was taken to the Konrad Funeral Home. Mr. Boldewahn was born Sept. 18 1886 in Oshkosh. He was retired. Surviving are two sisters. Mrs. Fred Zimmerman, Oshkosh, and Mrs. John Kamuchey, Milwaukee; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services win be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in private at Konrad Funeral Home. The Rev. Franklin R. Brehmer will officiate. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening and until the time of services.
