Beth Ione Davis, 88, of Salina, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014. She was born July 21, 1925, in rural Lamar, Ottawa County, to Clarence and Myrle (Bucy) Shivers.

She was married to Herbert Davis on July 14, 1945. He preceded her in death in 2011. Beth was a teletypist at Smoky Hill Airbase during World War II and a homemaker.

She is survived by: four children, Michael Davis and wife Beverly, of Salina, Bradley Davis and wife Deborah, of Lawrenceville, Ga., Elaine Nestler and husband Larry, of rural Salina, and Mark Davis and wife Therese, of Salina; brother-in-law, Joe Davis and wife Barbara, of Shawnee; niece, Janet Nash, of Shawnee; sister-in-law, Darlene Davis, of Delphos; 11 grandchildren, Kevin Davis, Stacy Katzenmeier, Kala Davis, Amy Elrod, Sean Davis, Maegen Stucky, Dru Davis, Abbie, Luke and Logan Nestler, and Rachel Chicas; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina. The family will have a private Inurnment at St. Paul's Cemetery, Delphos.
