On January 31, 2014 Lorene M. Heitkamp went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at the age of 88. She served as the church secretary at Beitel Memorial Lutheran Church for 25 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fritz C. Heitkamp and brother Calvin Gerhart. She is survived by her son, Steven Paul Heitkamp, his wife Mary Ann Heitkamp, her grandsons, Joshua C. Heitkamp, his wife Krystal, Randall S. Heitkamp, his wife Salinda., and great grandson Dillon Heitkamp, sisters-in-law, Marietta Gerhart, and Myrtle Plummer, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Beitel Memorial Lutheran Church, 2515 Austin Hwy., San Antonio, 78218 with Pastor Ron Windecker officiating. Private interment will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
