James DuBose Walthall joined his beloved ancestors on Friday, January 19, 2007.
He was born to Nellie and Walter Walthall on April 13, 1919.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wives Vivian McClain Walthall and Gladys Reeves Walthall , his son James D. (Jimmy) Walthall , Jr. and his brothers, Dr. Walter Walthall , Thomas Jones Walthall , and Frank Paschal (Bub) Walthall .
He is survived by his daughter Janet and son-in-law Dave Gould, step-daughter, Ginger Valdes, two grandchildren, Annalise Anthon and husband Dub, David Gould III and wife Terri, great-grandchildren, Hayden and Mason Gould, brother Rev. Edwin Walthall and a close extended family.
A graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, his lifelong loves included tennis, hunting, fishing and family gatherings.
