Mrs. Barbara Jean Chastain

Mrs. Barbara Jean Chastain, age 73, of Cumming passed away Friday, May 21, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Chastain.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Mike Goodwin of Cumming, Mary Chastain of Woodstock, Lisa and Jeff Green of Cumming; sons and daughters-in-law, Randle and Lynn Chastain, Bobby Gene Chastain Jr., all of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and Richard Turner of Sugar Hill; brother, D.W. Pettyjohn of Alpharetta; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty and Robert Rickett; seven grandchildren, Kimberly and Matthew Goodwin, Nicole, Jacob and Lee Chastain, Jessica and Allen Green; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 24, at 2 p.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ken Mullinax and the Rev. Jonathan Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Cumming. The family will receive friends Monday, May 24, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
