A graveside service is set for 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Tiny Freelen officiating. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
She was born Aug. 12, 1950, in Paris to Claude and Ailene Green, who have preceded her in death.
She is also preceded in death by one sister, Claudette Watson.
Christine is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jerry Pierce; a daughter, Chastity Howerton; and granddaughter, Gillian Howerton; her sister, Virdie Lindsey; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Marcus Lindsey, Cordell Lindsey, Blake Lindsey, David Ogas, Troy Jones and Tommy Innss.
